We are an historical re-enactment group that aims to recreate military and civilian life in the period known as the 'English Civil War' (1642 - 1651) but have also covered the era either side of this.
We attempt to do this as accurately as possible, to learn more about the period and undertake our events so that the sponsors and public watching and interacting with our displays will also find it interesting, entertaining and educational.

We manage to do this whilst enjoying ourselves during events and when socialising at the end of the day. Re-enacting is a hobby, which we mainly undertake for fun, to meet people and have a good time, and to enhance our understanding of the seventeenth century.

So, if you have an interest in history, whether great or small, and would like to learn more about the period of social, political, religious and miltary upheaval and change which swept the whole of the British Isles, contact us and we will introduce you to a brilliant hobby.
